Pakistan take on Bangladesh in Match 8 o the Asia Cup T20 2016. This match is very important for both sides as a win in this match will get them closer to the final. Bangladesh, after losing their opening game against India, have strung together a couple of good performances. They first beat United Arab Emirates (UAE) and then followed it up with another comprehensive win over Sri Lanka as well. Pakistan will however have one more match after this to qualify for the final. They will face defending champions Sri Lanka on Friday, who are going through a bit of a slump as well. Bangladesh have been rocked with an injury news, that of their fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman. Tamim Iqbal has been named as his replacement. Tamim missed out on sides opening three fixtures to be with his wife during the birth of his first child. With Tamim back, it is highly likely that he will open the innings with Imrul Kayes. If Bangladesh go in or a direct replacement for Mustafizur in the playing XI, they have the option of going for left-arm seamer Aby Hider. Hider recently made his international debut against Zimbabwe and had a good season for Comilla Victorians in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
