Bangladesh will lock horns with Sri Lanka for the second and final T20I at Colombo on Thursday. This will be the final hurrah for Mashrafe Mortaza who announced his retirement from T20 cricket on Tuesday and Bangladesh will be keen to provide their captain a victorious farewell. The live cricket streaming of the second T20I between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be available in India on SONY LIV, while the live telecast of the match will be available on Ten 1 HD and Ten 3. Sri Lanka showed all-round performance and would hope to extend the same in the second and final T20I. Kusal Perera top-scored with 53-ball 77 leading his side to victory. Sri Lanka also got the support of their ace pacer Lasith Malinga who contributed with two wickets. Asela Gunaratne, Vikum Sanjaya and Seekugge Prasanna also complemented the pacer with some wickets at regular intervals. Bangladesh had their cameos as well in form of Mosaddek Hossain and Mahmudullah. But the top-order will need to step up especially on the occasion of Mortaza’s final game.
With a victory in the first game, Sri Lanka might not tinker with their playing XI for this match. Meanwhile, Mehedi Hasan could get an opportunity to shine.
With the match being held in the same venue, the conditions are expected to favour the batsmen as well as assist the spinners.
