Hosts Bangladesh take on Sri Lanka in Match 5 of the Asia Cup T20 2016 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday, as the live cricket streaming of the match can be viewed on startsports.com, Hotstar (India) and Gazi TV (Bangladesh). Bangladesh made a good turn around, following an embarrasing 45-run loss in the opening game against India, as they convincingly beat United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday by five wickets, and hope to do the same against Sri Lanka. However Lanka, who won their opening game against UAE in a clinical fashion, would aim to repeat their heroics again againt the hosts, and assuming both the teams having a good current form in the this very format, it promises to be a thriller. On the flip side, Sri Lanka’s bowling attack looks quite threatening. Dasun Shanaka and Kasun Rajitha were quite impressive in the T20Is in India, while Dushmantha Chameera has been growing in stature with every series. Added to that is Thisara Perera and Malinga himself, which makes the pace attack one to watch out for. Sachitra Senanayake and Rangana Herath make for a decent spin attack as well, making Sri Lanka’s bowling well-rounded. Bangladesh have a decent bowling attack, but they will be wary of how easily India recovered in the opening encounter despite being precariously placed at one stage. None of the bowlers escaped unscathed from the assault by Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya. Despite this, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, and Al-Amin Hossain bowled well in patches.
