The report submitted on the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 spot-fixing controversy by a two-member inquiry panel has reportedly left the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) divided and confused.

According to sources, many BCCI officials are worried with the method used in the investigation. Some sources said that there were doubts about Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra being questioned as well, reports CNN-IBN.

T Jayaram Chouta and R Balasubramanian, who were the probe panel members, refused to give their comments. The report will most probably not be tabled at the BCCI Working Committee meeting in Kolkata on Sunday.

After former Chennai Super Kings’ team principal Meiyappan’s arrest, the BCCI formed a three-member panel to go ahead with the inquiry.

Although, after Sanjay Jagdale’s resignation as BCCI secretary, which was followed by his withdrawal from the panel later on, it was reassembled on June 10.

The panel was also asked to investigate the complaint filed against Kundra, who is part owner of the Rajasthan Royals, after he had allegedly admitted to his involvement in betting.
