Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to go after those supporting Aditya Verma, after N Srinivasan was found not guilty of match fixing by the Justice Mukul Mudgal committee. It is believed that Verma has been provided financial backing by a current or former BCCI official, and he is receiving political backing by a former minister.

“It will be debated who is behind Verma and where is he getting funds to engage costly lawyer and stay in star hotels. We will have to get to the bottom of this.”, a N Srinivasan supporter was quoted as saying by Mumbai Mirror.

N Srinivasan was cleared of match fixing allegations, but the former BCCI chief still has to answer some tough questions. According to the report, his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan has been found to be a part of the Chennai Super Kings which contradicts Srinivasan’s claim that he was merely an enthusiast.
