The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) will send out notices to the three cricketers — S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Amit Singh — as the governing body looks to begin its internal inquiry in the IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal.

The new BCCI Secretary Sanjay Patel informed that in a week’s time, the BCCI will send notices to the three tainted players, after which Ravi Sawani will collect information to complete his report.

“Everyone will be given chance to clear his stand and only then will the BCCI take a decision,” Patel was quoted as saying by The Indian Express.

Few days ago, Sawani had submitted an interim report to BCCI after the Supreme Court had instructed him to. However, the report was entirely based on information from media on the IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal. Sawani didn’t have any substantial information from the Delhi police.
