New Delhi: The working committee of the BCCI will be meeting in the capital on Monday to discuss about the ‘First Compliance Report’ on the implementation of the various recommendations made by the Supreme Court-appointed Lodha Committee. As per Lodha Committee’s directive after meeting BCCI secretary Ajay Shirke on August 9, the ‘Compliance Report’ needs to be submitted to the three-member panel by August 25 and that is the reason why the BCCI top brass have summoned the meeting. In the interim, BCCI has already filed a review petition with the Supreme Court asking for recusal of Chief Justice of India TS Thakur. However BCCI has decided to file Compliance Report as a failure would be seen as Contempt of Court. READ: BCCI vs Supreme Court: Conundrum continues
