Accounts and final reports will be finalised in the meeting

Mumbai: Aug 14, 2012

The Working Committee of the Cricket Board will meet in Chennai on August 22 to finalise the annual report and accounts ahead of its Annual General Meeting to be held in September.

“It will be a regular meeting before the AGM where the accounts and annual report will be finalised,” said Board of Control for Cricket in India’s Chief Administrative Officer, Ratnakar Shetty.

It will be the third successive Working Committee meeting condoling the death of a current or former BCCI administrator.

On two previous occasions, the Working Committee meetings had followed the death of former BCCI presidents N K P Salve and P M Rungta.

This time the meeting follows the demise of MCA president and BCCI’s media committee head Vilasrao Deshmukh who died on Tuesday in a Chennai hospital where he was undergoing treatment for a serious liver ailment. (PTI)
