Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting has signed a new three-year contract with Big Bash League team Brisbane Heats. Heats coach Stuart Law is delighted over Cutting’s inclusion in the side.

“Cuttsy gives us a lot of strike power and options for our BBL plans, so he was always going to be a key signing for us. We were keen to talk it through when the chance came to make it a longer term deal, and I’m very happy we’ve got him sorted now for the next few years,” Law was quoted as saying by the official website.

Cutting is also pleased with the new long term contract with Heats. “I’m really looking forward to making a contribution across the board this season, especially with the ball as I’ve been working very hard in the winter on a few things that seem to be working well. We’re putting together a pretty handy squad and I think all of those new fans who came last year are going to enjoy the action once again,’’ said Cutting.
