Jasprit Bumrah, the elite bowler, has performed brilliantly in the first two Test matches against England. Now that he has taken 15 wickets, the 30-year-old is dominating the series in wicket-taking. Despite the fact that the pacers’ fortunes were not favourable in Hyderabad or Visakhapatnam, the cricketer demonstrated his value to the squad by making important contributions.
Owing to his talent and consistency, Ollie Robinson, an England pacer, referred to him as the “best bowler in the world.” Robinson was really delighted by Bumrah’s unplayable yorker that he delivered to Ollie Pope in the second Test of the five-match series. After the Visakhapatnam Test, the England seamer said he was speaking with James Anderson and that it was quite remarkable to watch him bowl so brilliantly in these circumstances.

Ollie Robinson’s big compliment for Bumrah
“Jasprit Bumrah has been crazy good. I must have said, ‘This bloke’s the best bowler in the world,’ ten times in Vizag,” Robinson was quoted as saying by Wisden.
“The way he got Popey out, I was like, ‘Oh my, this guy’s a joke.’ And then he got Foakesy out with a slower ball and I’m like, ‘Oh my goodness, can this guy get any better? You watch him and you think, ‘Wow, he’s good.’ And as a bowler – me and Jimmy were speaking about it and after the last game – to watch him ply his trade in India is really special because we’re always striving to put on a performance like that in these conditions,” the Kent-born pacer added.
Robinson talks about learning from Bumrah
Ollie Robinson, an England pacer, praised Jasprit Bumrah as a wonderful cricketer and mentioned that he is picking up tips on how to bowl in these circumstances from the Ahmedabad-born player. Robinson has not yet participated in a match in the current Test series because James Anderson and Mark Wood were selected ahead of him. The pacer did, however, state that he is prepared and is looking for a chance shortly.
“I’m raring to go if Ben knocks on my door and says I’m in for the next Test,” he said. “I’ve been training as hard as ever. Hopefully, I’ll get my chance at some point,” Robinson concluded.
