Beuran Hendricks to miss ODI series against Zimbabwe due to injury

South African fast bowler Beuran Hendricks will not be able to participate in the three match One-Day International (ODI) series against Zimbabwe starting Sunday (August 13).

Hendricks will miss the series due to a back strain incurred while touring Australia with the South Africa A team, according to a Cricket South Africa press release. South Africa will also rest fast bowlers like Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel and Vernon Philander during the series, according to sport24.co.za.

After the series, South Africa will also play a triangular series starting 25 August, with Australia being the third team.
