Perth: Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been picked for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 clash against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the WACA, Perth. Mohammed Shami has been rested for this game as he had some problems with his knee. India have rested him as a precaution for this game and have brought in Bhuvneshwar. Bhuvneshwar himself has had problems with injuries throughout the tour to Australia. Prior to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, he had walked out of the warm-up against Australia. He did not play the warm-up encounter against Afghanistan and then missed out of the Pakistan and South Africa game. In his absence, Mohit Sharma did a decent job for India in both games. Considering Shami’s injury, it is quite sensible that they have rested him keeping in mind the games to come. India need him to be fit as he has been their best bowler.
