England pacer Tim Bresnan became the latest player to join the Big Bash League (BBL) after he was signed by the Hobart Hurricanes, according to an update on the latter’s official Twitter account. Bresnan will represent the Tasmanian outfit in the upcoming fourth season of the Australian Twenty20 tournament.
Bresnan, who last represented England in an international fixture in March earlier this year, is set to make his BBL debut in the process. The Yorkshire pacer is the third international player in the side after fellow countryman Alex Hales and Netherlands pacer Timm van der Gugten. The fourth edition of the Australian T20 event is scheduled to start from December 18, with the tournament final to be played on January 28.
