Bihar government has asked Indian cricket captain M S Dhoni to send a Detailed Project Report (DPR) in support of his proposal to set up a Sports Training Academy in the state.
Welcoming the gesture, state Minister for Art, Culture and Youth Affairs, Sukhda Pandey said, “In response to his proposal, we have asked him to send the DPR,” and added that they were eagerly awaiting Dhoni’s reply.
Dhoni had last month sent a letter to Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi expressing his desire to set up an academy in the state.
Pandey, meanwhile, revealed that the government was searching for the land to establish a world-class Sports Training Academy, as announced by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar earlier.
