West Indies legend Brian Lara was full of praise for Wahab Riaz for is excellent spell in the quarter-final against Australia in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Adelaide and even offered to pay the fine imposed on him by International Cricket Council (ICC). Australia were set a target of 214 and Australia were in a spot of bother at 84 for three after which Shane Watson was dropped by Rahat Ali in the deep off the bowling of Riaz, which turned out to be the turning point of the match. Australia beat Pakistan by six wickets and booked their place in the semi-final, which they will play against India at Sydney on March 26. Watson and Steven Smith scored half-centuries to help their side beat Pakistan. Australia have never lost a World Cup sem-final, but will face a Indian side full of confidence after their thumping win against Bangladesh in the quarter-final.
