The quarter-final of the U-23 Col CK Nayudu trophy between Hydrabad and Tamil Nadu was washed out on the second and fourth day. The match held at NPR college ground, Nathan was extended to fifth day due to first innings of both the sides not being completed. Even though with an additional day there was no play possible due to wet outfield. This let the outcome to be decided over a coin toss.

Tamil Nadu were 38/1 in their first innings into the fifth day of the rain interrupted match. This led to Tamil Nadu advancing in the Semi-Finals by virtue of coin toss. Tamil Nadu will face Delhi in their Semi-Final encounter starting from December 8.
