The fifth edition of the highly popular Twenty20 (T20) league in the West Indies, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), is all set to get underway once again from August 4, 2017, and will take the entire West Indies under the grasp of the T20 fever. Six teams in the form of Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallahwahs, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, St Lucia Stars and Trinbago Knight Riders will be fighting it out for the coveted title. The Tallahwahs will be the defending champions, who won their second title last season, and are currently the most successful team in the tournament, as they will look to seek their record third title this season.
