Mumbai: Indian ticketing major Kyazoonga on Thursday signed a Rs.100 crore multi-year deal with the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) to provide their proprietary ticketing and accreditation solution to the West Indian cricket combine.
The company ticketed the CPL last year as well. The deal worth over Rs.100 crore over a multi-year term will see Kyazoonga manage the entire ticketing and accreditation operations for the CPL.
The CPL has a six-team format with representation from the six main cricket playing countries — Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Guyana, Barbados, St. Kitts and St. Lucia. Indian Premier League (IPL) side Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has recently bought the Trinidad and Tobago team.
“We have been extremely pleased with the technology, operational and system capabilities and the quality of service that Kyazoonga has brought to CPL’s ticketing programme,” Damien O’ Donohoe, CEO of CPL said in a release.
“We are delighted with the deal that will help us grow the tournament bigger and better. The team from Kyazoonga never ceases to pleasantly surprise us with their positive, technology-driven approach to come up with solutions.”
