Chirs Rogers, the 37 year old Australian who was on short leg duties in the Brisbane Test against India was more than happy to see young Joe Burns in the team for the next Test.  The main reason behind this , the Veteran opener would be happy to pass the short leg duties on to debutant Burns for Boxing Day Test.

“I’ll be pushing for the young fellow to get in there. As you saw from my technique, I’m probably not the bravest in there. But it’s one of those necessary rules; you have to get in there, but preferably I don’t want to be in there if I don’t have to, ” the southpaw said with a smile in face.
