Electing to bat, the Mahipal Lomror-led Rajasthan were restricted to 129/8 by Bihar bowlers. While opener Abhijeet Tomar and the middle-order batsmen Lomror and Robin Bist chipped in with some runs, Prashant Singh scalped three wickets to make sure that Rajasthan did not get a big total on board. Chasing 130, Bihar’s innings started with a stutter after they were reduced to 15/3 as Piyush K Singh, Babul Kumar and Keshav Kumar perished cheaply scoring 0, 6 and 0 respectively. While Mangal Mahrour scored 33 off 32 balls, he hardly found any support from the other end as Aniket Choudhary and Tanveer Ul-Haq ran through Bihar’s top and middle-order. (ALSO READ: Tiwari fifty guides Chhattisgarh to massive win over Mizoram)

Choudhary scalped three wickets while Tanveer, who was Rajasthan’s leading wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy 2018-19, dismissed two Bihar batsmen, conceding just 12 runs in his four overs.
