Chris Morris records most economical figures in T20 history

Morris conceded only two runs and picked two wickets against Cape Cobras.

South African pacer Chris Morris recorded the most economical spell in T20 cricket while playing for Lions against Cape Cobras in the Ram Slam T20 2014-15. Morris now holds the record for the most economical for a completed T20 spell. He picked two wickets for two runs in his four overs and bowled three maiden overs at an economy rate of 0.50.

Morris’ team Lions scored 141 after electing to bat. In response the Cape Cobras struggled to get going. Prior to Morris, Zulfiqar Babar held the record with two wickets for three runs in his four overs.
