Delhi Daredevils opener Virender Sehwag has been declared fit to play in the Champions League, (CLT20) according to media reports.
Sehwag was earlier ruled out of the CLT20 due to an ankle injury during the Super 8s match against South Africa but according to a report in NDTV, the batsman is set to leave for Johannesburg.
The report further elaborates that the MRI scan of the cricketer reveals that there is no reason to worry and that the support staff would assess him again in South Africa.
The tournament begins on October 13 with South African franchise Titans’ clash against Australia’s Perth Scorchers, followed by the reigning Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Johannesburg.
