Faisalabad Wolves, who were initially denied a visa to participate in the 2013 edition of the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20), are all set to get their travel documents.

It is learnt that the Prime Minister’s Office intervened and made this possible, reports The Indian Express.

It is also learnt that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) convinced the Indian government to grant visas to the Faisalabad Wolves players. CNN IBN  reported that the visas would be granted by September 13 and the Pakistan franchise will be comfortably able to make it to Mohali for their first qualifying game.

This means that the fans can watch a possible contest between Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar and star off-spinner Saeed Ajmal.

Faisalabad are the second franchise to be part of CLT20 league after Sialkot Stallions participated in the last year’s competition.
