With one win and a defeat, both Sunrisers Hyderabad and Titans will be desperately looking for a victory to stay in contention for a semi-final berth when they face each other in their crucial Champions League Twenty20 match at Ranchi on Saturday.
The two teams are on four points each and a defeat would mean that the losing side will be virtually out of the reckoning.
Titans, however, managed to eke out a narrow four-run win over Brisbane Heat.
Having made a huge impression in the first game, where AB de Villiers scored a hurricane 36-ball 77, while skipper Henry Davids’ responsible 52 paved the way for Titans’ challenging 185 for five, in the second game the batsmen failed to build upon their starts, getting all out for 123.
