Doug Bollinger started proceedings for the Hobart Hurricanes and steamed in with a lot of pace in the 6th match of the Champions League (CLT20). He was trying to attack the aggressive hitting of Richard Levi and ended up being a little wayward. The silken willow of Hashim Amla was on full display when a hint of width was on offer. The batting maestro shuffled a little and punched the ball effortlessly through the off-side for a boundary.

Ben Hilfenhaus was handed the ball for the second over and Hashim Amla was yet again ready to capitalise on the loose delivery and pulled it behind square leg for a boundary. Hilfenhaus wasn’t deterred by the boundary and pitched the ball up, a hint of swing castled Amla and it was a huge wicket for the Huuricanes. The bowler ruined it by bowling a bad delivery that went for four byes.

Earlier,The Cape Cobras have won the toss and have elected to bat first. Cobras skipper Justin Ontong looks to utilise the batting track in order to put some substantial runs on the board and put pressure on the opposition. For the Cobras, Rory Kleinveldt, Justin Kemp and Stiaan van Zyl have been replaced by Richard Levi, Sybrand Engelbrecht and Dane Piedt.
