CLT20 Final: Suresh Raina completes half-century

Suresh Raina has completed his fifty in the CLT20 2014 final against Kolkata Knight Riders. Chasing 181, Chennai are 88 for one in the 10th over. He got his fifty off 27 balls.

To the surprise of everybody, Suryakumar Yadav was handed the ball and he conceded only three runs in that over. Piyush Chawla then came on to bowl in the next over and off the second ball, he was hit for a four over mid-wicket. Suresh Raina finished that over with a six down the ground.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bowl first. Chennai were playing an unchanged side. On the other hand, Kolkata were forced to bring in Pat Cummins in place of the suspended ace Sunil Narine. Gautam Gambhir’s 80 helped Kolkata put up 180 for six. And, Pawan Negi took five for 22.
