New Zealand batsmen, Corey Anderson and Grant Elliott brought up the 100-run stand for the fifth wicket, during their chase against African giants, South Africa, in the semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the Eden Park in Auckland on Tuesday. Elliott contributed 39 and Anderson contributed 58 along with three extras in the 100-run stand. Currently, New Zealand are 251 for the loss of four wickets in 37 overs with Grant Elliott on 53 and Corey Anderson on 58, and the match now being a 42 overs affair due to rain interruption. Earlier, South Africa skipper, AB de Villiers won the toss and elected to bat first on a green and even track at Auckland and finished on 281 for the loss of five, but the target was revised to 298 owing to the rain interruption.
