In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic that has brought the world to a standstill, cricketer Sheldon Jackson on Wednesday did his bit by taking to the streets and helping the needy by feeding them.

Following the 21-day lockdown in India, citizens are taking to the streets in order to reach their village as they have no work and are finding themselves stranded with no food and shelter.

Wearing a mask, Sheldon Jackson took to his social media handles and shared a video with his fans where he is on the road, helping citizens.

He captioned the video, “It takes grace to remain kind, in cruel situations.”

During the testing times, most cricketers and athletes are coming forward and making a contribution to bring about a change.

From India skipper Virat Kohli to Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma, among others made donations in various schemes while the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also contributed Rs 51 Crore to Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund.

Meanwhile, Jackson, who is supposed to feature in the cash-rich Indian Premier League may have to miss it this year as the event may get canceled.
