CPL 2016: Players involve in nasty head-on collision

A nasty on-field head collision between two players was the main talking point at the end of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) game between Barbados Tridents and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. West Indies batsman Kieran Powell was taken off the field in an ambulance after he collided with team-mate JJ Smuts in the 19th over when Tridents batsman De Villiers clobbered the ball in between long-on and deep mid-wicket. Both the fielders while trying to take a catch were hurt badly. Powell was more severely hurt of the two as his head appeared to have hit the ground as well. The support staff and players rushed to the scene soon. READ: Barbados Tridents beat St Kitts & Nevis Patriots by 25 runs
