Domestic England cricketer Craig Kieswetter or Steve Davies might play Tests with the national side looking for a wicketkeeper, as Matt Prior would be missing from action due to his Achilles injury.
England are thinking about turning to a wicketkeeper who did not tour with them in Australia and with Jonny Bairstow and Jos Buttler failing to instill enough confidence to be handed the Test team’s gloves against Sri Lanka, the doors seem to open for Kieswetter or possibly Davies to return.
According to the Mirror, South African-born Somerset wicketkeeper Kieswetter, who last played for the national side in January 2013, is set to face tough competition from Surrey’s wicketkeeper batsman, Davies for the Test team job.

However, England Test and One-Day International (ODI ) captain Alastair Cook wants robust Prior to do the job, but the current wicketkeeper suffered a relapse in his injury last week and is currently battling to get to the field again and play, the report added.
