Sachin Tendulkar’s dream to globalise the gentleman’s game with Cricket All-Stars League 2015 will gain concrete shape today. The league’s inaugural ceremony will take place at 9.30 pm today in New York. The match will start two hours later at 11.30 pm Indian Standard Time (IST). The two teams that will lock horns in this match are Sachin’s Blasters and Warne’s Warriors. Only time will tell how successful Cricket All-Stars League will be to popularise the game in Americas. The second T20 will take place on November 11 and the third and final T20 is scheduled for November 14. Recently, Tendulkar had said that facing Shane Warne in the league will be interesting. Former Pakistan pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar said that he is relieved to play in Tendulkar’s team since he won’t have to bowl to him. Former legends of cricket will face-off in this encounter. Tendulkar’s team is studded with the likes of Brian Lara, Virender Sehwag, Glenn McGrath, Muttiah Muralitharan and Curtly Ambrose while the key players of Warne’s team are Ricky Ponting, Matthew Hayden, Kumar Sangakkara, Wasim Akram and Courtney Walsh. It is expected to be an interesting encounter; first time in history of cricket so many legendary cricketers will be facing-off each other in a T20 match.
