Gurgaon police busted a betting racket over the recent India-Australia ODI on Sunday and nabbed four men from Ashok Vihar Phase III. Eight mobile phones, one laptop, one television, calculators, chargers and Rs.50, 000 in cash were recovered from the raided place. However, the officials denied the possibility of a kingpin in this case.
The accused, identified as Dinesh Ahuja, Raj Kumar, Deepak and Bhrama Prakash were taking bets on calls, when the cops raided their premises. They are residents of Shivaji Nagar, Bhim Nagar, Arjun Nagar and Wazirabad respectively.

“The racket had been functioning for a long time. We got a tip-off about the activities and conducted a raid to arrest the accused. We are interrogating the four men to get more information about clients too,” Maheshwar Dayal, DCP (crime), Gurgaon police told Hindustan Times.
