Barring him only three other batsmen got into double figures, as a result of which Tridents could not get a big score on the board.  In Reply, the Zouks got off to a brilliant start courtesy of some excellent hitting from their openers Johnson Charles and Andre Fletcher. They put on 88 for the first wicket off just 68 deliveries to set up a perfect platform for their side. There was a brief delay due to rain after the Zouks had lost the wicket of Fletcher, but they were well ahead of the target as per the Duckworth-Lewis Method.

After play resumed Zouks were set a target of 131 in 19 Overs. They got to that with 15 balls to spare and have significantly improved their net run rate in the competition.
