India were taking on Australia in the first Test at Brisbane in 1991. Batting first, India were all out for 239 as the pace trio of Craig McDermott, Merv Hughes and Mike Whitney accounted for all 10 Indian wickets. In reply, Australia took a 101-first innings lead – the Indian team fighting back after Australia were 244 for two at one point of time.

But the Aussies came back strongly when India batted a second time, with Hughes having Krishnamachari Srikkanth caught by David Boon with India yet to open their account. The same fielder-bowler combination struck again with the score at 14 when an uppish flick off the hips by Sanjay Manjrekar ended in his dismissal as Boon at short-leg took a blinder, bending low to his left and making a difficult catch look simple as he just microsecond to pluck the fast-travelling ball.

India were all out for 56, as the Australian pace trio yet again accounted for all 10 Indian wickets. The 56 runs that were needed were knocked off by Geoff Marsh and Boon without hiccups.
