Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were struggling at 71 for 3 after 10 overs, having lost their skipper David Warner and middle-order batsman Moises Henriques in quick succession. Left-arm chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav was the one who caused damage to the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their IPL 2016 Eliminator against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). At the creased were right-handed explosive batsman Deepak Hooda, and the star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. While Warner was dismissed for 28, Henriques scored 31. The winner of this IPL 9 Eliminator will face Gujarat Lions (GL) in the Qualifier 2 of IPL on Friday night. The final will be played on Sunday. Warner and Henriques added 59 runs for the second wicket, after their opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed early on for 10. Warner scored run-a-ball 28, whereas Henriques was the one who was more aggressive. The right-handed batsman scored 31 off 21 balls, which was studded with 2 sixes and 1 boundary.
Earlier, left-handed opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner on Wednesday created history when they crossed the 1,500-run mark as an opening pair, in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Dhawan and Warner did not have the best of outings on Wednesday night against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 9 Eliminator, but they managed to become the first pair ever to achieve the feat for their side.
