Australian batsman David Warner is set to launch a children’s book series called “Kaboom Kid.” It features little Davey Warner, a “cricket-mad rascal and the best batsman on his block.” Two of the four books will be released in December 2014, with one hitting stores in January and another in March 2015.

According to the press release of the book, there will be a Little Davey Warner lookalike competition, in partnership with the Today Show prior to the launch of the books. Warner, who is touted as the “most popular cricketer in Australia” to children, will aim the books for children around the age of 8-12. Warner wanted the books to be released in time for Christmas and the ICC World Cup 2015.
