Maxwell had a particularly poor match as he was out without scoring and gave away 11 runs in the only over that he bowled. For DD, Quinton de Kock and Sanju Samson ensured Their team gained a comfortable 8-wicket victory over KXIP chasing a low total of 112. It was Amit Mishra who bamboozled the KXIP batsmen picking up as many as four wickets which hampered their run rate. DD skipper Zaheer Khan on winning decided to bowl first on a decent pitch which was to assist the spinners. DD made one change to their team, bringing in JP Duminy for Nathan Coulter-Nile, while KXIP was brought in Shaun Marsh in place of Marcus Stoinis.

DD will want to continue their winning streak against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday while KXIP hope to achieve first win against RPS on the same day.
