Carlton Baugh was called up by the West Indies on Sunday to replace the injured Denesh Ramdin for the first three matches of their one-day series against Australia.
Ramdin suffered a fractured right thumb while batting on Saturday in the second West Indies warm-up match at the 3Ws Oval and will now return to Trinidad to start rehabilitation.
Baugh made 140 while playing for Jamaica against Trinidad and Tobago in the regional four-day tournament.
The five-match one-day series gets underway in St Vincent on Friday. (AFP)
