Ajit Agarkar has made himself unavailable to play for Mumbai for the third match running when the 39-time champions take on Punjab in their concluding Group A Elite division tie from December 21-24.
“He’s informed me that he would tell me in advance whenever he’s available for selection,” said Mumbai Cricket Association’s secretary Nitin Dalal.
Agarkar has not been available for selection, since he walked out of the team in a huff and returned to Mumbai from Cuttack after being left out of the playing XI on the morning of the match.
“Abhishek Nayar broke his finger, while fielding in the game against UP at Lucknow (in which, Mumbai secured three points and assured their berth in the knock out) and is out for 10 days, while Dhawal Kulkarni has opted for rest,” Dalal added.
