TOSS: CSK win toss opt to bat. ABD Villiers back for RCB
There meeting kickstarted the IPL 2019. And they meet again on Sunday for the second time. Royal Challengers Bangalore would want to forget the match as they were shot out for 70 at MA Chidambaram Stadium. Chennai Super Kings would take confidence from that contest.
The teams are coming after contrasting results in their previous matches. While RCB won a high-scoring thriller against RCB, CSK suffered their second defeat of the season losing to Sunrisers Hyderabad.
So, who will emerge victorious this time around? MS Dhoni? Or Virat Kohli? On paper, both the teams are loaded with superstars, but their show so far puts CSK as the firm favourites.
But the defending champions won’t take RCB for granted knowing they are up against a team boasting of multiple matchwinners.
MS Dhoni (wk), Virat Kohli (captain), Suresh Raina, Faf du Plessis, Moeen Ali (vice-captain), AB de Villiers, Ravindra Jadeja, Deepak Chahar, Imran Tahir, Dale Steyn, Yuzvendra Chahal
