In the previous season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) made a number of reinforcements and reached the finals of the tournament. Sadly, the team couldn’t win the coveted trophy but the George Bailey led franchise won millions of hearts. The cool captaincy coupled with scintillating batting and bowling performances made this franchise a top side in their previous edition.
KXIP were one of the strongest teams coming to this year’s edition of the IPL but things went horribly wrong for them. They have won only three games out of 13 and have languished to the bottom of the points table. They failed to contribute as a unit which in turn paid the price dearly. Though they are out of the tournament, the players sunk into some crazy funny videos.
In this video, the KXIP players have used the one of the most trending apps in the town- ‘Dubsmash’, to mimic some famous movie dialogues and songs. The players have done reasonably well in mimicking various actors and songs around the globe. These are some rare moments which KXIP players will cherish for the rest of their cricketing career. From skipper Bailey to his teammates, everyone are seen enjoying this moment while dubsmashing.
KXIP will play their last game at Mohali on Saturday against table-toppers Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and will look to disrupt CSK’s party and sign off the tournament with some pride.
