India Red did not take much time to fold India Green’s innings in the last session on Day Four to claim their first win in Duleep Trophy 2017-18 at Ekana International Stadium, Lucknow. Needing a massive target of 474, only Karun Nair delayed the inevitable for India Green scoring an excellent hundred. For Red, it was Karn Sharma, who ran past their opponents to pick his maiden 10-wicket haul in First-Class cricket. By virtue of this 170-run win, India Red are now on the top of the points table.
Third session saw Siddarth Kaul skittle out Nair, Shahbaz Nadeem and Mohammed Siraj in quick successions. First to fall was Nair for 120, followed by Nadeem and Siraj. The duo could not even open their account.

Karn put the final nail in the coffin by sending Mayank Dagar back to the dressing room. Aniket Choudhary remained unbeaten on 1. Dagar, who came in at No. 6 played a valiant 45-run knock as India Green wrapped up for 303 .
