Dwayne Bravo to play with Shane Watson for Sydney Sixers

The Big Bash league team Sydney Sixers has roped in West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo for the upcoming season.

Bravo who has more than 1700 runs and 106 wickets in T20 cricket will join the likes of Shane Watson, Brad Haddin and Pat Cummins in the team.

Sydney Sixers General Manager Stuart Clark was delighted by the latest signing. He said, “Dwayne Bravo is a great addition to our playing squad, a fantastic personality and an awesomely-talented cricketer who embodies the Sixers’ personality.”

The West Indian all-rounder was also elated by joining the Sydney team. He was quoted in Sydney Morning Herald as saying, “To say I am excited to join in the fun with the Sydney Sixers this summer is an understatement.

“What could be better than playing cricket under lights with a party atmosphere at the SCG. It’s going to be a blast!

Sydney Sixers will face off with Brisbane Heat on December 16 in the season opener.
