London: England and Wales Cricket Board ( ECB) incoming chairman Colin Graves has said that his country’s squad would be expected to beat a ‘mediocre’ West Indies side during their upcoming Test series next month, and there would be some enquiries if the team failed to win.

The upcoming three- Test series in the Caribbean will commence from 13 April in Antigua. Graves, who will assume charge on 15 May, said that he would certainly be disappointed if they didn’t win the West Indies series as the West Indies are going to have a mediocre team, the BBC reported.

Graves further said that a lot of star West Indies players are going to be playing in the Indian Premier League anyway, not in the Tests, insisting that they should win that series. However, Graves warned that there would be some inquiries if they didn’t win the series.
