England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth and final cricket Test against India on Thursday.
India, who trail 1-2 in the series, have brought in all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, for whom it will be his Test debut, and leg-spinner Piyush Chawla, making it a four-pronged spin attack with Ishant Sharma being the only pacer in the side.
For England, pacer Tim Bresnan has replaced Steve Finn, while Joe Root will make his debut at the expense of Samit Patel.
