While there were no changes in the top ten of the ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings, three England batters – Natalie Sciver, Danielle Wyatt and Tammy Beaumont – made a significant progress in the rankings released on Friday.
The three were a part of England team which comprehensively beat Sri Lanka to cleansweep the three-match T20I series.
Sciver, who remained unbeaten throughout the series with the scores of 49, 10 and 11, moved up a place to reach the 13th position in the ranking. Opener Wyatt, who scored 103 runs in the series, including a fifty in the final game, moved up two positions to make it to the 15th spot in the rankings.
Beaumont, the biggest gainer of the three, jumped eight places to enter the top twenty. She, after scoring 76 runs in the series, now holds the 18th spot in the rankings.
Amy Jones, took a big leap, advancing 25 places to be on the 45th spot after scoring 111 runs in the series.
The list of batswomen is topped by New Zealand’s Suzie Bates. India’s Smriti Mandhana, meanwhile, holds the third spot while Jemimah Rodrigues is on the sixth place. Harmanpreet Kaur, who could not feature in the three-match T20I series against England, is on the ninth spot.
In the rankings for bowlers, India’s Poonam Yadav holds the second spot while Radha Yadav is on the fifth spot.
