The third One-Day International (ODI) between England and Australia has been delayed due to light showers ahead of the toss in Birmingham on Wednesday.
Australia took a 1-0 lead over the hosts after thrashing them in the second one-dayer at Old Trafford. They now have a chance to take an insurmountable lead in the third match.

Prior to the ODI series, England had won the Ashes 2013 series 3-0. The Twenty20 International series finished 1-1. Australia won the first match in Southampton by 39 runs and lost the second match in Durham by 27 runs.

England and Australia also won their respective one-off ODIs against Ireland and Scotland respectively.
