Sri Lanka have a task on their hands when they take on England in the second Test at Headingley.  Sri Lanka just about saved the first Test after losing nine wickets on the last day’s play. Sri Lanka seemed to be costing towards a draw on the final day, before James Anderson engineered a collapse on the final day. Angelo Mathews played a fightning knock for Sri Lanka. Sangakkara scored his first hundred at home of cricket Lord’s and that too at the ripe age of 36. He is surely in great form at present. England will to forget what happened in the first Test and look for a win in the second Test. Where as Sri Lanka would think that they are very much in with a chance to win the Test series as well.Catch the live blog here.


With England, Alastair Cook has come in for some criticism over his defensive captaincy.  Sri Lanka though, seem to be a happy unit, especially with their bowling unit functioning well and their batsmen being able to do well in the first Test at Lord’s.
