England skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field against Brendon McCullum’s New Zealand in the first Twenty20 match at the Oval in London.
England come in after a good run in the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 after finishing as runners-up while New Zealand failed to carry their form from the ODI series victory over England and crashed out in the group stages. In the absence of Stuart Broad, middle-order batsman Morgan leads England. Boyd Rankin makes a debut for England.
