England win toss, elect to field against New Zealand in 1st T20

England skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field against Brendon McCullum's New Zealand in the first Twenty20 match at the Oval in London.

England skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to field against Brendon McCullum’s New Zealand in the first Twenty20 match at the Oval in London.

England come in after a good run in the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 after finishing as runners-up while New Zealand failed to carry their form from the ODI series victory over England and crashed out in the group stages. In the absence of Stuart Broad, middle-order batsman Morgan leads England. Boyd Rankin makes a debut for England.
