Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that India has copied ‘bazball’ after they registered a seven-wicket victory in the 2nd Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur. Indian captain, along with Yashasvi Jaiswal helped the team to reach the fastest team 50, 100, 150, and 200 runs in history of Test cricket.
After India managed to snatch the victory by 7 wickets even after losing two days due to rain, Vaughan has said that it was great to see India becoming Bazballers.
“I’ve to say, this is a remarkable Test match. India went on to bat… their cricket is fantastic. It is great to see India now becoming Bazballers. They got 285 in 34.4 overs, they copied England,” Vaughan said.
Since this was the first assignment for Gautam Gambhir as the new head coach, Adam Gilchrist used the name Gamball in reference to Gambhir.
“I think you’re fine. Gambhir has already patented GamBall. Now, England need to tread carefully,” said Gilchrist.

“Gamball looks quite similar to Bazball for me,” Vaughan replied.
